I have used maxlife ATF and other then the smell have had no issues with it. Coolant I pick up bargain basement. If I'm feeling frisky and there is a deal I'll go with prestone. Of course you can always buy OEM fluids from the dealer too. It will cost you though.

Yes the maxlife smells absolutely horrible. Smells bad new and old. Smells like gear lube you would use in a manual transmission.
