Footwell Accent LEDs

So I decided to finish installing these bad boys yesterday while I was snow in. Pretty simple to me honest, and it sure as heck beats spending 200+ bucks on the OEM once. Let me know what you think.

You sure can't beat the price. BTW where did you get your pink lights, my wife wants some on her truck now that I mentioned them lol. And are they neons or LEDs?
I had LEDs and they were not bright enough so I bought two pink neons. One under each footwell. I got them off eBay. My brother found them and told me which ones to buy. It was under $20 for sure.

I actually got mine from autozone, didn't want to wait for them on the mail. When it comes to cars I'm not really patient lol. They were only 20 bucks so not bad, actually thinking of buying another set to place somewhere in the back so the whole car lights up =)
Your brave to work in the winter. Our garage isn't heated and my brother isn't home. When he visits in the summer he has to clean my CAI. Not too sure if I have anything else for him to fix or install then.

It's not really all that bad, but there's only so many things you can do. It also all depends on the time the isntallation of the particular item will take. LEDs for example were only like half an hour. I should be geeting some HIDs today or tomorrow which I will try installing over the weekend, unless it gets complicated lol.
Yea I got mine from auto zone as well. Did u wire them in to the dome light?

Nope, I actually wired them to the dimmer switch. So they'll only turn on when I turn on my headlights on.
how do you turn them on and off ?

They're hooked to the dimmer switch so once the headlights are turned on so do the LEDs.

Mine are hooked up to the mirror so they come on as soon as I turn the key. :)

thats weird everyones turn on by something in the car. mine has its own control box

I have two control boxes one for the front and one for the back
I didn't want to add any switches or control boxes, because in my old car I hit the fog light switch by mistake, came out from a late rehearsal when in university and car was dead ... So my brother made my neon lights 'dummy proof' for me. :woot: Now they turn on with the car, and off with the car.
