Hello all,

I just got a 2009 Versa, and the stereo is basic. I bought a Nissan 2011 stereo online in order to have the Aux In input. The install was easy, but now it seems like the antenna isn't connected. I don't get any AM stations and the FM stations are fuzzy. The CD player and Aux work great. Are the connections on the 2011 not compatible with the 2009 wiring?

They should be. If Im not mistaken, the antenna plug is the same plug on every radio. From my understanding, Nissan uses the same antenna for all there vehicals. Did you connect the antenna plug? It is the gray rectangle plug. The main harness is different among the vehicals, but that wont interfear with the signal. Double check to make sure that plug is connected. That should solve your problem. If so, unplug it, and plug it back in. If its the same, maybe its the radio.
