I've got a 2014 Versa note with 97K. There is a loud humming noise coming from underneath the back seat. I'm pretty sure it's the fuel pump. What I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue and is it normal, or is the pump about to go. It seems to get louder the longer I drive it. Don't want to get stranded. I drive 100 miles a day.
Any info would help. Thanks

When you turn the key to on, but not start the car, does the car make this noise?

Did you also check to see if the exhaust is touching the car in that area?

^^^This will tell you how your fuel pump sounds. When you turn the key into "Run" position, if you did not drive for a while and the fuel system is not longer pressurized, fuel pump will start running. It works for a few short seconds, and then stops when the fuel system is pressurized.
