Basicaly, when I hit position 1 and move to position 2 it doesn't click and will go back to position 1 with minimum effort. Same for neutral. It just doesn't click in the right spot. Dealer quickly looked at it but not under warranty.
Dealer offered to repair it, 50$ for the piece, about 100$ for the time.
I think it's a ridiculous price and I intend to do it myself, any idea if I can order the item myself or if a basic cleanup can do? Apparently it's just the piece that holds the lever in place... I might in fact just try to dissasemble the whole thing but I don't want to damage the plastic housing.
i think there's a post removing the plastic surround to change the shift boot. might be helpful? probably just plastic tabs holding it in anyway. pry carefullyhope it helps
Ohh he explains it well for how to remove the lever, I'll try to just lift the base see what's under... might as well use my sensor cleaner in there if it's dirty!
