We only have 123 members and by the amount of posts I see not all are active. I think we need everyone to do something to get the word out on this forum. I see plenty of versa's out there and about half of those have mods.

So lets get this thread rolling about how you get the word out about this forum. If you are not getting the word out then post that (so we can pressure you into participating

).

So far I plan to let people know about this forum by:

-posting on my other car forums, at least the ones that allow it

-making a decal for my car (if the owner of this site doesn't mind)

-posting on various blogs about the versa and adding the URL when allowed

-making a downloadable flyer that we can print and put on versa's we see

I have other forums where it is such a close community that we know alot of people by real names, drive states to hang out, offer to shuttle parts around the country, look at cars for sale locally for each other and things like that. I hope one day this forum can become like that and I will be doing my part.

So what are you doing to get the word out about nissanversaforums.com?

I thought about making a youtube channel for the versas of NVF.com.. i dunno.

I would rock a decal but it would need to be simple.. nothing crazy.

We need to try and get everyone to swtich from Nico to over here.

It would be nice to get everyone from NICO over here. Not sure how we could do that. They don't alloy other urls in sigs or anything over there. Even if you find a way to get one in they will take it down as soon as they see it.

Ive tried to send emails and stuff out to the members on Nico cause you cant PM for some gay reason on that forum

Best goal is to make decals, contact people that you know who might be interested, give out business cards to other Versas you see on the road.

We need to decide which decal design and start the production so we can get our word across.

yeah thoose are all good ideas, i really need to get off my butt. and see if i can find somewhere to get some decals for a good price.

I put a link on my website also to try and drive traffic here, I get a ton of hits a day and hoped it would help...but I've found out there are a lot of guys/gals that just look but don't interact....same with our Socalversaclub it's just a few that actually come out to the meets while a lot of people just talk but no action....I know people can get busy etc..but we have a couple a month and post the venue in plenty of time and at different locations etc. even I've missed a few because of commitments but I try to make as many as possible, so they could at least come to one every once and a while to say hi! We do have a ton of fun at these things.

Bob, what if you took off the NICO link from your homepage and you sponsored this site? Would that piss off a lot of NICO V members? lol

If colors are limited and only a short run I may be able to assist with this. See my suggestion for decals in that thread.

Being a business I don't see why you wouldn't put a link up to as many sites as you can. Then again nico is a little larger and probably gets you more hits so if it pisses them off then it might not be worth it.

With Nico I have a banner swap and why the banner on the websites but I can put it where I have it and in a special area because these guys seem to go to everywhere there's a link....at least what I can see on the stats page that I use. So to be honest I don't think it matters if it has a banner or weblink posted as long as you can see it.

i stumbled on this site browsing versaspeed.com. i never saw the site until now. so i think whoever shops at versaspeed should see the site

I bought my car and the first thing I did was google versa forums. This and nico were like the only two. Nico seemed to have more traffic so I joined that (mistake). But read again about this one i someones sig over there.

Rob, do you think you could mass produce some business cards and mail them with the decals? With the business cards, we could card any Versa spotted at a parking lot.

That is the point of the flyers. I know business cards are better but they also cost $$. Just about everyone has a printer

theres always versas parked outside my work, i always right down this site and bobs versaspeed site on there. but business cards are more proffesional

print the flyer on quality paper and it will look profesional too.

Is there a way to design the Versa flyer it folds in half so it looks like a professional pamphet?

The flyer I made is designed to be cut into fours. I did it this way because there is no reason for a full sheet of paper to tell someone about the forum. Obviously you guys feel the same since you want it on business cards. Plus no need to kill extra trees

I can set something up so that it fold like a pamphlet but then you will need enough stuff to fill a pamphlet. What do you suppose we put on it?
