Hey Everyone!!

Just got my 07 Nissan Versa SL on Sunday! Blue Onyx Metallic, seems to be in good condition!

So far it is great! Loving the 6 speed transmission.

From reading some stuff on the forum though, I am a little worried about gas millage, but whatever.

It is a huge step up from my first car. An Old 2001 Hyundai Accent! POS

I was so glad to find a forum for Versa's. Looking forward to participating more.

I will add a picture to my account soon!

Not many plans for the car. It is actually a sedan.

I just ordered the Dash Mount and Wiring harness, so that I can get my aftermarket deck in there, and then I'll be wiring in the sub.

Other than that, I just want to tint the windows. Unfortunately, not a whole lot of extra cash right now to do much more.

Next April, when I'm done school, I am going to replace the speakers, but no money for that yet.

Welcome!!!!

Before I bought my Versa, I too drive a 2001 Hyundai Accent GS. That thing was amazing on fuel, especially next to the Versa. But I love my Versa. It has way more features than my Accent ever did.

Where in Ontario are you located? You should join us for a meet one day.

Post up some pics too!
I am in Stratford, but I go to school in Toronto, so I will be there in September. My Hyundai was alright on gas. However, the engine was in rough shape, burned through oil really bad, and the clutch fluid would disapear. There was never a sign of a leak.

It had not power locks, windows, and no AC. However, I hand painted it black (from white) and tinted my own windows (which went poorly too) haha.

I love my Versa, which I have named Vera, because it resembles it, and I love Pink Floyd. Having AC is worth it all!

What day in June?

I have another friend with a 2002 Accent, automatic, and it is good still, I may have got a bit of a lemon. However, it was only 1500 bucks so it was great still.

I'll post some pics here, tonight after work.

I will be looking around for stuff like that. Still getting used to the forum layout and everything. It is a great time killer at work when my supervisor is out of the office haha.

I don't think I will be able to make it all the way to Toronto on the 20th because of work. But if there is one between September and next May, I should be able to make it. I would really like to go and meet some fellow Versa owners.

I was looking at pics of your car. I love the uniqueness of it! So much time and love in it!

I think exterior wise I actually would leave it mostly the same. I enjoy the stock look of the car, and I don't feel that adding to the exterior adds to the value for me. Other people get to admire the look of it, but when I drive I'm inside the car lol. So I would/will be doing some adjustments to the interior. Mainly with the audio/video.

I am going to be putting my alpine iDA-X305 deck in it, and wire in my Alpine MPF-500 amp and 10" Kicker L7. I love the deck, the amp and the sub are just alright, but I'm on a budget.

I am going to be looking into some new speakers after I am done school. I am thinking some JL 650-CXI's.

Now if Money were not an option. I would have get a JL 8W7. I don't need huge bass, I like it to mix well. I would also look into getting Focal speakers for my car. To power all of it, I would get the JL hD900/5 all in one amplifyer. I don't know if I would change my deck, but if I did it would be a Double Din deck.

Otherwise I think I would keep the car pretty stock. Maybe an intake!

That sums it up. Sound ok? lol
