I fit two in the sedan. Just sayin :D
... and I own a sedan! boo yea! Cheers! :D
The sedan has great trunk space, that goes along with that great rear leg room. One thing all my passengers miss about my Versa, the rear room.
See I don't get it...the roof line on the hatch is a bit bigger in the versa but other than that the sentra seems to be bigger...I have much more leg room in the front and back of my sentra than I do in the versa.lol

I find less less room in the rear in my brothers SER as well. His trunk is much bigger than mine though.

Yes, I agree the Versa has plenty of leg room. The trunk storage in the Versa is much smaller in cubic feet compared to the Sentra. Main reason behind this is the trunk space is sacrificed in order to have more legroom. Overall the Sentra is a bigger car than the Versa, that's why one is a sub-compact and the other is compact. Two difference species.

Sentra height from the ground to the roofline is 59.5" while the Versa is 60.4", not much of a difference but it adds up. While the length of the Sentra is 179.9" and the Versa is 169.1", bigger comparison.

Personally, Id rather have a bigger cargo space than more leg room for rear passengers. It's not like I have a family or kids I have to haul around everywhere.

I agree thats why I didn't mind a Sentra. The rear leg room isnt as important to me. It has more front leg room, it's wider, more trunk space, and feels bigger too. The headroom in the rear, along with rear legroom is a killer with this car. I am 6'2 and the seat is all the way back, and tilted, so it becomes small quick, unlike the Versa. The sentra is made for 2 adults in front, and 2 kids in the rear. The versa is much, much, better as a family sedan or hatch. Except, I wish it was wider, or the versa and sentra switch rear legroom and head room, lol!! The Versa is great all around car, and has a little bit of every category in the car, but when you go for Sentra, you are buying for quailty and refinement that Versa dosent have compared to sentra.

Good point...yesterday I was going to IKEA to check out some furniture and my folks were complaining about the legroom in the back of the Mazda3. Never had that with the Versa.
