So I performed the handle "fix" that was detailed in another thread (maybe another forum) where a hole is drilled through the handle and a cottoner pin is inserted. The handle certainly isn't going anywhere anytime soon (yay!).
Unfortunately, I'm now having trouble getting the (torx) screw to screw into the lock assembly to hold it in place. I'm positive that I have the screw lined up perfectly to insert itself into the assembly but for some reason it's not taking hold. I spent the better part of an hour on this yesterday and am having no luck. Any tips?
