the knob that shifts the entry point of heat/cold into the car is stuck on defrost. I had this same problem when the car was under warranty and the tech said that the duct was blocked by the insulation that had come loose. Previously the service manager tried to charge because he said that a mouse had built a nest.
In any case, I have removed the glove compartment to gain access to the ducts but don't know how to proceed from here as I see no way to get inside the ducts.
The car is a 2009 Versa sedan, basic.
