I bought a couple of Accords in the 80s. In 1993, they were running loss leader ads on 8100 PUs. That is now a Tacoma. However, the prices of those two brands have hit the roof. I paid $7K out the door for my 1993, and $12K for my 2002 Taco. That truck now would be close to $20, out the door.
So, I am looking at Versa. I have seen em in ads, for $11500 w/dealer-chiseler
fee. In Atlanta GA, 300 miles from me. That of course is a base Versa. It would have a manual trans. I don't think the CVT is worth the cost. I bet it will not
last as long as a manual.
Anyway, what I would really like is a V6 truck w/MT. But, I can't afford that.
Versa looks good and I feel it is as good as Honda or Yota. Honda always gets
very favorable press coverage. But, I think there products have gotten pricy.
