Welcome to the forums. Im not into the CVT at all but I've had my Versa(5speed manual)for 3 years and love it. Very reliable. I like the Fit as well. Any issues with it?

I honestly dont keep up with MGPs. I usually shift under 3K to keep the engine/tranny healthy and have the oil changed around every 2K miles(normally hit 3 months before 3K miles). I purchased the car new so it had 5 miles when I got it...34K miles later and Im still a happy Versa owner. I've made it "mine" over the years.

I wonder if the CVTs in the Rogue is the same as in the Versa, and they just don't hold up as well in heavier vehicles ???

That's what I was thinking. The Rouge weights more than the Versa so the transmission has to work twice as hard. Not good.
