Hello there jap2bd! I'm also from southwest Virginia and also looking to buy a Versa to replace a Chrysler Laser. Kind of crazy. I too hate to give up on my Laser but with 222,000 miles on it it's not terribly reliable any more Mine is a 2.5 non-turbo, T-tops, all digital instrument cluster. It was a nice car once upon a time and maybe it can be again if I ever regain my interest in restoring it.

Bought it used around 160k, sold it around 225k. I did pay $500 for the car, so I cannot complain. I HATED replacing the valve seals... Mine was the 2.0l 4g63. I had to sell the thing mostly due to me leaving to the UK for half a year (study abroad). Coming back to the UK last week, the V was my present to myself. Haha.
What part of SWVA are you from? I'm pretty much right next to Bristol VA/TN lines.
