Hello everyone, this is Josh from Bristol, VA. Recently bought a Blue 2012 Versa SV (cvt) this week. Got it the day after I came in from being overseas for half a year. I must say, I love the car. Even though I do miss the good ol' Laser. :45:

I got the car mostly for the gas mileage and affordability. The sad thing is, the laser's mpg was worse than my 05 Frontier. With this new change, I am very pleased with it. :spiral:

Anyways, I hope to meet some of you in the future (meets, etc.)

Welcome to the forums!!!
Welcome to the forums!! Enjoy the Versa life!! :)
Thanks guys. Sorry about not replying swiftly. I've been out of town helping a group of guys with oil changes. Every few months, we do free oil changes for single women. You would be surprised how many do not check their cars!

It's pretty much the same thing as the 1st gen Eclipse and Talon. Had the 2.0l turbo on it.
Enjoy the forums.
Welcome to the forums fellow SWVA resident :)
Hello there jap2bd! I'm also from southwest Virginia and also looking to buy a Versa to replace a Chrysler Laser. Kind of crazy. I too hate to give up on my Laser but with 222,000 miles on it it's not terribly reliable any more :( Mine is a 2.5 non-turbo, T-tops, all digital instrument cluster. It was a nice car once upon a time and maybe it can be again if I ever regain my interest in restoring it.

I know that feel. Bought it used around 160k, sold it around 225k. I did pay $500 for the car, so I cannot complain. I HATED replacing the valve seals... Had to use a long torque wrench and a cut out deep well socket...

Mine was the 2.0l 4g63. I had to sell the thing mostly due to me leaving to the UK for half a year (study abroad). Coming back to the UK last week, the V was my present to myself. Haha.

What part of SWVA are you from? I'm pretty much right next to Bristol VA/TN lines.
I'm close to where I-77 and I-81 cross each other. I lived in Abingdon for several years. I often miss it.
