Well I took her for a good ride and she runs great. I wanted a 2.0 with manual tranmission but because they already had this car here and great price I took it. CVT works very well. I am proud of being a first time Nissan owner. I wanted a Nissan since the 90's. Anyways I'm okay with it but when I first got it I didn't like the car as much I loved my Ford focus due to speed and well my ford 2003 had mp3 cd player and well the wheel cover on my Nissan I am not a fan of which looks ugly with the car. Also I need tinted window to look good but more I look at my car the more I am liking. Taking a bit but I'm getting there of liking my Nissan. I am on a budget so this fall on my budget. By the way thank you guys for welcoming me. You guys are great. :thumb2: Do anybody know how I can find out the size of motor on my Nissan? 1.8 or 1.6? It's a 2010 versa sedan. Is cvt automatically last longer then regular tranny? Sorry for the stupid question. On my last picture is my ford focus next to my new car this was the dealer lot trading my ford for my Nissan. Thank you all you guys are great.

Motor looks same as mine, 1.8L. Don't know about cvt tranny life [that's a good question!] Manuals are supposed to last longer but I've ground up a couple manuals here and there, so just treat it well and it will treat you well! Going from Focus to Versa, did you find the Focus corners better but the V much nicer ride? I'm not a fan of wheel covers either, but the red V looks great!
Yeah that's a 1.8 the 1.6 doesn't have the cover but the 1.8 does.

I've heard that CVTs have been giving a lot of people trouble ... but with the sweet warranty attached to it, I'm ready for anything ! LOL
Hello and welcome!
Your Versa looks great! the only thing you have to worry about is oil change, on time, and take care of it.
about window tint, I got mine done for 150.00 with the strip and life time warranty.
The guy did 35% and I didn't want the chance to get a ticket, plus I drive at night so I need to see who's riding beside me on the other lane. some people like to go with 20% or lower.
About the CVT tranny lasting longer...not sure. it is too early to tell. I have a 6spd but sometimes I feel lazy and wish I had CVT or automatic...
did you have any problems with the focus or anything?

My tranny on my nissan is belt so my focus isn't. My ford focus had so much
balls with 2.0 my nissan is 1.8. What I didn't like is there no elbo rest on my nissan also wtf its a versa s and it doesnt come with mp3 compatible which my 2003 did. If I can compare with focus 2003 brand new and my nissan 2003 Ford would be better stuff when it comes to bringing down my back seats, elbo rest, mp3 and cd changer option, motor is 2.0 but hey at least I gotten a
nissan it's what I wanted before I gotten my 2003 focus in 2002. So my nissan needs rims my focus never needed (in my mind) a good rims. I am getting useto my nissan and liking more every few hours and days. Tranny on focus fucked up around 2006. Oh and the sound of my 2003 ford sound system has better sound then my 2010 versa. But Like I said I'm getting useto and loving my nissan even more every hour and days. I can now trust nissan tranny then my focus. Focus does have problem after 2006. Sorry I'm being honest. Don't get me wrong I will eventually love my nissan completly very soon. It's a smooth drive and tranny work very well then my focus. 2 din is great for getting a 7 inch lcd radio with dvd and all.

Nice versa. About the CVT, you don't have the CVT. You have the traditional 4spd automatic. The CVT is only availible on the SL Hatchbacks. That's prolly why you don't like your transmission. Your transmission shifts up and down through the gears right? A CVT does not shift and is a smooth ride. When you floor the gas it goes through gears right? With cvt, when it's floored, the rpm needle will go to about 6000K and stay there, it will not move untill the gas pedal is released. That's the physical feel difference between the two, im sorry if it sounds rude, but just wanted you to know. The CVT isn't even avalible for the sedan 07-11. Also it sounds like u would have been happier with an SL model. That focus of yours was not a base model, and the versa S is. However things like the center armrest are availible. Just find a salvaged SL sedan or hatch from a juckyard, and swap the center consoles. Its not hard at all. I did it and it was easy. See the SL has the armrest, fold down seats, mp3 player, 6 disc cd changer, and standard alloys. So you would have had everything your old focus had if you got the SL model. But you can customize your versa, and buy the 6 disc changer, alloys, armrest, and all that stuff if you really want them. Just locate a salvaged SL model. Hey, I even changed steering wheels with an SL so I could have leather wrapped and audio controls!!!! Anything is possible with the Versa. If you have power windows and locks, guess what? Your even prewired for fog lights!! Just buy the kit and your ready to go. No wiring at all, it's all there already!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I thought the SLs were the only models equipped with CVT.
