Didn't your Versa already come with a tachometer? I'm not really sure where the signal is but you can find the FSM online and that will have the information you looking for.
HELP!! hard time trying to find tach signal
whats up guys? ive just got a tach for my versa. ive been trying weeks to find a tach signal. does anyone know where i could find it. its driving me crazy. thanks

yeah my versa came with one but im puting a aftermarket one with a shift light. one question what is FSM?

back of alternator?? thats where rover and jag draw a tach signal from
pull from one of the coil packs, or do you want it inside the dash?
i tap the coil packs and it only send me the signal when the coil gos. and what do you mean inside the dash? some people told me to tap into the ecu tach signal wire but does anyone have a diagram of the ecu?
