Can you post up a picture?

Best thing to check is if you have rims or hubcaps.
Rims = SL
Hubs = S

Price too of $11 tells me it's the S model.
Don't all SL's have an SL badge on them?

I just took a quick look at prices, and that seems like a really good price, even if it is an S. Most of the 2011's are still up over $13,000!
it has hubs, i am pretty sure it is an s but it doesn't have the s on the back, it came with floor mats, it has power windows ,ac, no bluetooth . see it has things that are from the sl trim but alot of s trim as well. thats why im just really confused lol. ill get pics asap!
Not all SLs had the badging. 2007 SLs didn't have the SL badging on it. The newer models should.

Hubcaps confirm its an S model.
sweet! i did so much damn research trying to find the car that would take my happy ass to school and dammit i guess i found it haha. ok well i can really assume at this point it is an s but it was just weird seeing pretty much a half and half, all the things that i want and all the things i dont want out of it. i guess its just my own!

Actually I have seen some SL's from the states around here with wheelcovers on.

The power windows/AC are part of a package that you can get on the S, I know I got it on mine, and can't imagine many people didn't go for it.

Is it Automatic or manual? If auto, is it a cvt? That would tell your right there if its an SL. But it definitely doesn't sound like an SL.
its a 6speed manual!! oh wow see its the little things you learn that matter, thanks guys obviously lots of help!

They could very well have two sets of tires but why would a dealer sell him an SL models with hubs? Unless he got a good discount for that lol
$11,800 for a 2012? Manual too? Thats a great deal, they're hard to find in manual. I paid $11,400 for my base model sedan(no power windows/locks or radio), manual as well. :thumbsup:
Just to clarify, all hatchbacks come in S or SL, there is not base. The base model only comes as a sedan. If you have power options like windows and locks, it's most likely an S. S Hatchbacks don't come with a badge (in the case of my 2011), only SL's have that distinction.
Now if you have a 2012, they make the base model S, then SV, then SL.

There is a base S hatch. I almost got one before I got my sedan. Looks just like a regular S hatch but no power windows/locks so its not wired for fogs, and I believe it doesn't have the steering wheel buttons.

By base, I mean the 1.6 sedan without radio, and optional ABS.

The "base" S Hatchback has those options, Mine came with the power plus package, so power windows and cruise control.

And with the "S" badge, mine didn't come with a badge, might be a 2011 thing?
I have seen some "S" cars with the badge before but most don't I put one on mine though lol

Ah, gotcha. And I believe they stopped the "S badge" thing in '08. Its "old skool" anyway, most newer cars don't do the sub-model badge.
I have a 2012 hatch. It came with power window/locks. Pre-wired for DRL (and or fogs, not sure), cruise, and possibly blue tooth. It did not come with the S badge. Go to the nissan web site and it will show you the differences between the hatch S and SL. Simple enough I think. ;)
Check the front,rear bumpers and side fascias.. i believe these distincts them from S trims.
