I bought a dvd/navigation head unit and an eBay wire harness

so my question is do I need to attach a wire called ant. con to the antenna wire on the wire harness ?

I guess it has something to do with the power antenna ...

If your car had a power antenna, as in it goes up and down, that wire triggers it to move.

I have a Tiida, and the antenna is the same one that's on the Versa.
It doesn't go up and down.
So not a big deal if it stays unplugged?

There's power that goes to the antenna to boost reception. Without the switched 12V power supplied, you'll have a hard time pulling in distant radio stations.
