Took a new driveway pic now just a nissan family lol put the dakotas old tags on temp so it don't get towed till I can get tags prolly tomarow. Can't wait to drive it sucks that its got to sit for now oh well I topped off all the fluids today.

Here it can happen if it's on the road without plates. Without plates in your own driveway, we won't get hassled.

Just didn't want to chance it lol they can be very strict round here. And yeah I had to take the tint off cause it was turning black from the heat.

I love a good project:biggrinjester:imo go with sr20det swap instead of v6, especially if handling is important. Is it 1.8 or 2.0 currently? Wow it's in pretty decent shape!

Sr20det is a great choice, 2.0 turbo is a perfect base for a car with handaling in mind.

can't get the radio to work in the 200 radio turns on but just static, antenna wires are connected and the antenna goes up I'm stumped any thoughts?

There may be a steel woven ground strap from the radio chassis to the car. If broken, this may affect tuner, maybe, especially for FM, jus guessin

Maybe I will have to dig more into it. Well me and my fiancee just got back from dinner and a 40+- mile cruise in the 200 its not bad riding alittle unstable at highway speed. Idk about modding it might just restore it its just such a nice cruising car lol.

Glad to see another member with an s12. Its a fun little car. Ive had mine since 2001 but never bothered to modify it until 2004. I might be selling my lowering springs since im going coilovers.

Thanks man. Engine wise its the stock vg30 with a 2.5 exhaust. Its lowered on canuck motorsport springs with tokico illuminas. For the interior i have an s13 nrg short hub with quick release with a momo monte carlo, s13 stock shifter since the s12 is super high lol. For the rims i was running ford crown victoria rims but now on work meisters s1.

Well I have the radio problem narrowed down the radiois bad or there is a tape deck spliced in to the radio that might be the problem.

Well I narrowed it down to the radio being bad so I went out to a car audio shop to get the wiring and the dash kit dug around the shed found my jensen radio iv had laying around and put it in today, and... it all works perfect cd player AM and FM all work Heres a pic,

note: crappy tape deck under it does not work and will be removed when I find a new dash storage compartment.

I got tired of the black and decided to go back to oem color to keep it original.
