i've had a few diesel vws, and i'd love to have an a3 or a4 wagon with 2.0 DI and manual, my nissans have been minimal cost to keep for several km:thumb2:

Where in Ottawa are ya? My younger brother lives there. I visited there for the first time this past August. So much to see. The light show at Parliament was beautiful. I'll be heading there in a couple weeks to take in the Ottawa/Habs game

I love my frontier too but its too hard on fuel for the distances that i drive everyday. The one thing my truck didnt have that i really wanted was a manual transmission so i decided whatever i got next would have that. its too bad you cant get the SL with a manual so i opted for the SV and plan on buying a fog light kit, aluminum rims and a few other things if there available to make it a bit nicer.

definitely an instant improvement for fuel economy.

i've got 2 frontiers for work- an 03 with the KA24DE w/ a MT and a 09 with the QR25DE w/ AT. both only give me an average of 20-21mpg each, and that's 4cyl without driving hard either. if the new NV200 will work out (similar to the ford transit) for my applications, i'd love to get rid of the 03 and get one instead.

i had better fuel economy from my old 89 hardbody, 2.4 NAP-Z w/ MT. 25mpg consistently.

Sounds good. I hear you, I wanted a black sedan but they were auto so I got a silver sedan. Love it! The only thing I dont like about the SV is the chrome door handles but sounds like an interesting build so Im subscribed. :thumbsup:
