Hello everyone. I am 25 and live in San Jose, CA. I just got my versa last week and love it. It is a 2011 Nissan Versa 1.8 S 6 Spd Manual Transmission. I was wondering what kind of cheap mods or accessories can I throw on the car to start? I want to get the Nissan OEM spoiler but any suggestions after that. Nice to meet you all, I hope to frequent this site!

welcome to the boards!!! hope you enjoy your stay! a lot of versa parts can be found on www.versaspeed.com
Thanks #1Tango. Unfortunately I'm not super car savy. I can change tires, oil, and brake pads and that's about it at the moment. I checked out versa speed. Maybe you can enlighten me about certain add-ons etc. Not sure where to start to be honest lol.
Hi welcome! I started with Tinted Windows and Window Visors
welcome hope you enjoy the car fog lights are always a good start
Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy that V.

Some of the mods are tint, wheels, lowering springs, CAI(cold air intake), exhaust, fogs, HIDs, etc. :thumb2:

Welcome! Tint is a good start, it looks a lot better and keep the car cooler!

Any questions you have and when you get parts you can always post on here, after looking in the How To section, and ask for help with installation.
Welcome to the forum :)
Hey! Welcome!

A couple other people mentioned it, but tinted windows are relatively inexpensive and are my favourite mod I have done to my versa so far!

An HID kit is very easy to install and is also pretty cheap! Also, the Tanabe NF210 springs from Versa Speed are a great mod. Really change the whole look of the car, and really don't affect the ride quality!

Enjoy!
Welcome

Sorry for the bump. I took some time off due to never having free time (2 jobs non-stop). I got bummed as my spouse drove my versa into the back of a civic. Luckily it was only bunny hopping it. The beautiful part (sarcasm), was it bent the steal inside where the front line assembly, bumper connected. After saving for the deductible I am proud to say she is back to herself!!!!

For my celebration I had 8k Canbus HID's put in. Think I will tint her this week. After I am thinking Tanabe exhaust, VIS kit, and maybe some lowering springs. Due to all of the lovely things I pay for (being the only employed one currently), might take a while lol. Anyhow thanks for warm welcomes and I will not be a stranger anymore.
HIDs sound good. How's the output? Also, which % tint do you plan on getting?
welcome here! and i answered you questions on my picture! if you want other suggestions for cheap mods, you should go with the window tint, hids, coils springs will really change the look and of course the rims too :p

Good luck in your project! :)
Enjoy the forums. I'm sure you checked out bobs site (versaspeed) if not lots of goodies for the versa
Welcome to the forums as for mods.

Low End:

Aftermarket Tiida/Versa Climate control knobs (MUCH better than OEM for around $20)
Plasti-dip : You can do wonders with this stuff for changing up the color of wheels or dash.
Front Strut Bar : around $80
Rear Shock Bar : around $90
Wind deflectors : around $90 for OEM or $110 for Weathertec (I have these)

Mid End:

Tint : Always a must :) around $120 thru a reputable installer
SRI (Short-Ram Intake) around $190
CAI (Cold-Air Intake) around $180
Lower Springs : around $200
Sway Bar : around $200
Throttle Controller : around $150

Luck :D
