Just signed up today. Just bought my first Versa a week ago. It's a '12 1.8 S Hatchback... Love it!

Excited to check out all of the rides on this Forum, and learn the ways of the flying 'V'

welcome to the forum what color did you get?
Enjoy the forums.
Welcome to the forums.
Hopefully I'll have some pic's up tomorrow. I have a lot of plans I am interested in doing to this car! One of them including the stock 6-speed M/T swap. The Auto 4-speed is nice, but there's only so much you can do to an automatic... Plus I enjoy driving M/T a lot more!

Should be an interesting swap
Welcome! Why didn't you just buy a MT in the first place?
LOL... Well I figured I wouldn't really mind having an automatic considering all I've ever driven was a stick and thought it would be a nice change. Plus the girlfriend isn't to 'clutch friendly' haha... but now I'm kickin myself for not getting the M/T!! These cars are like little go karts and after driving it around for about a week I'm ready for a swap!
I hear you. My old car was auto and my dad did the auto-manual(5speed) swap so I figured why not go manual from factory? I didnt care which model I got, I just wanted M/T. Its 5speed instead of 6speed but I love it just as much.

I feel the same way too not getting a manual.. LOL
Welcome, not sure it flys but it sure glides =)
lol... That's true. I'll have to do something with the suspension and tires, because the little 15" stock tires don't really like hard turns! Any ideas on what I can do for the suspension? I've seen the strut bars and I really like the eibach pro kit springs. Anything else you guys can think of that doesn't involve dropping a lot of cash on coilovers?
Welcome! Enjoy.
Slightly bigger wheels and a mild drop with a strut bar will do the trick.
