I broke my driver side mirror backing out of my garage, and I want to go about fixing it myself.
I have ordered both:
Amazon.com: Fit System 68552N OE Style Power Folding Replacement Driver Side Mirror: Automotive
And
(Just in case the first option does not work)
I intend to use the full replacement if possible (the first picture). However, I could really use some help with the replacement of the side mirror.
My car is a 2007 Nissan Versa.
Here are some pictures of the current state of the car:

Will I need to remove my door panel?
I have searched this forum and found:
http://www.nissanversaforums.com/how-tos/1001-how-take-your-door-panels-off.html
But it does not cover how to replace side mirrors.
I also found these guides on the internet, but there are no pictures unfortunately.
If anyone could be of assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
(I would like help with instructions on removing the door panel if necessary, and how to do it)

Andto make things short..
my right hand mirror got totally smashed by a hit and run driver, so i had to go to the service center for a replacement..
he had to take of the door panel to reach the cables connecting the mirror with the electronic switch inside the door!
i was watching him closely how he did it and these are the excat steps he took!:
1- he removed the silver part of the door knob
2- he popped out the plastic part of the door handle which has the glass electric switch
3- under the plastic thing he removed there were 2 screws, he took those off too
4- he slide a plastic tool (just like a flat head screwdriver) in the space between the door panel and the actual door
5- he pried the panel all around and then lifted it from bottom up
6- under the panel was a nylon sheet covering the spaces in the door ( i thought that was used to detect any tampering, but it turned out that it prevents the whisteling noise at high speeds!)
All that i didnt pay a single dimeall covered by the insurance.. (ALL RISK Insurance)
