It really can't be under the clear coat unless you painted it too! If you've got a buffer try that. Maybe it has adhered to the wax ?

I've been using Meguiar's Wash and Wax on the exterior since I've bought my Versa. Their Natural Shine interior detailer is great too. I still haven't found a specific type of tire dresser I like a lot yet.

I highly recommend meguiars ultimate wash and wax. Try to use a little less of the soap to water mixture if you washing your glass with it as well. Sometime the wax will leave speckles all over the glass.

Ok here is what I do,
I use Dri Wash n Guard Products (which i do sell on my site) Dri Wash n Guard Waterless Car Wash at the lowest price, original dry wash
Normal Wash
Step 1. I clean all tires, and plastic panels first using Tire and Trim Treatment,
Step 2. Clean the paint, starting from the top, and work my way down, then do the windows.
Step 3. Buff off all paint and windows

If you have a black car I HIGHLY recommend getting Turtle Wax Black Box. It makes the car look brand new; also tends to minor swirl marks.

Watch out for the cleaner wax, can strip clear coat if not careful. My car was a lil warm, big mistake to start the black box at that time. It should be good in the garage or shady area though. Switched to NXT after that cause it doesn't cake up when the car is warm. I have no garage fyi.

And for the tire dressing, use Armor All Tire Gel, works perfect, lasts about 2 weeks or more. Keeps it looking wet and black.

Shining Versa

I came across a product called Klasse, which I get at autogeeks. After a thorough washing, I chamois it off. I then apply the Klasse All In ONe (AIO), following the directions. Its a cleaner wax. afterwards, its Klasse sealant glaze. This stuff is acrylic and is nearly bulletproof. I especially do it in November before severe winter hits, and my paint is protected until spring, when I again do the AIO part, I only do the AIO in the spring. After that, just the sealant glaze. I wont ever use any other product. Its a little expensive, but a VERY LITTLE goes a long way.

I highloy recommend weathertech floor mats. htey are a little pricey, but they are laser measured for fit and they fit PRECISELY. HTey also have a lip all the way around which goes up the sides about a few inches and even up under the pedals. They scrub off to new looking, too. Im glad I got them. They do a great job. You have to remove the stock carpeted pads first because tehy also anchor in tto the floor with thos guide pins.
