So what commonly scratches, cracks, dings, chips, splits, bubbles, or just plain breaks?

Interior or Exterior?

I've noticed that the interior center control console easily picks up scratches.
How long will the fuel and hood pulls will last and how will the Red Alert paint look after a few years?

The dash easily picks up dust...
At least my windows are tinted, so that should help reduce the heat inside the car.
The heat from the sun is what wears the dash

Paint,
the best way to keep the paint looking like new is keeping the car under a car garage
and stay away from bushes, keep the car under the garage, wash the versa by hand using a sponge and something soft then put her back inside the car garage, wax the Versa, then park the Versa back inside the car garage where there's No: Heat, No Sun, No Rain, No Snow, No bird Poop =)

Well I can say in almost 2 years, the cluster is all scratched up, paint doesn't seem to be the best, my auto dimming mirror begins to rattle from time to time, and hub cap backing clips start to break. Other than that, I haven't had any major problems. Just normal wear and tear.

I've noticed that my dash(charcoal gray) is always dusty but it's dark so I guess that's normal. Also windshield is always dirty!

Other than that, I've had her for a little over 1 year and she's been great.

Whole dash is cheap plastic and rattles like crazy

Under the hood paint is bare metal starting to rust. Bumper shows black plastic.
Interior holding up much better than MkIV VWs and E90 BMWs I have been scoping for the last few years! hope this helps, 08v

I have a matador red Versa too ... 3 years, 46 K, this is her paint

I have a few rock chips on the hood from driving on the highway; but the deflector has helped majorly. Only ONE ding on the driver door from a rock. And one small scrape above the rear passenger wheel (my brother accidentally scratched it). Other than that, I take really good care of my Versa; she's garage kept, and still shines and looks brand new

I also have two dogs that love to poke their head out the window. Even with their nails, there are no scratches on the interior door panels. The only thing that rattles are my sunglasses in the above holder (when I'm not wearing them).

yeah...keeping her in side the car carage is THE BEST way to take care of the paint. My next house will have a 2 car garage or NO DEAL!

Lol. Ya I thought my dad would, but he said I can still park Kitty in their. Plus it would be a tight squeeze, my mom would have a hard time parking the new van in their. Lol.
