Hello everyone,
i've recently bought a few new things for my 08 Versa such as a cold air, some HID's, rims and tires. Now its as if i cant stop looking for things to buy for it! i was thinking about new breaks and mufflers. i was wondering if anyone had any input on which muffler i should buy and also how would i go about installing it? i may eventually want to buy a whole new exhaust system at some point, but for now im just looking for a muffler.

Just the muffler, like an axle back correct? I've got a catback myself and it was a simple removal of a couple of bolts and dealing with the stubborn black rubber "holders". I'm assuming an axle back will be similar if not easier.

well i've done a little reading to find out the difference and i think i'd want to go with a cat back, especially since it's only a bolt on. anyone have any suggestions as to which one i should buy?

I personally have a DC and I love it but a bit loud sometimes. Nice low growl on idle, it'll maintain a steady tone when you're just easing on the gas but it'll let out a roar when you want it to. And my personal favorite is the deep growl when you turn on the ignition.

In short, you can keep it on a short leash and it'll purr but it'll go wild if you let it loose.

"$$$$"? I didn't OBX made cat backs, i'll look into that. The OBX headers is a pain in the buns. I personally was tempted to install them but like you said it doesn't seem to have good reviews.

Thanks man! that put to rest any question i had about the header for sure and now i dont have to waste my time with the exhaust...and by $$ i mean its a little pricey. so if you know of any other RELIABLE exhaust systems that are a little less, be awesome to know! :)

Tanabe Medalion Touring Cat Back Exhaust Nissan Versa Hatchback

This isn't catback like Google or the website itself may tell you. It says under every Tanaba "Catback" , NOTE: AXLE BACK. So not a catback. You could do a greddy exhaust. I believe those are catbacks. Me personally, I would go with DC. That's just me.

Off topic, @Tubtub got a name change eh? Plus admin status? Alright! :thumb2:
