Take a flat head screw driver and place it like in the picture, then just pry up on both sides.

Once loose, pull up and straight towards you at the same time

Take a star shaped screwdriver and remove the screws on both sides as pictured.

Now take your hand and place it like picture, and pull towards you, but not to rough.

Now there will be connections from the hazard and airbag buttons. On the hazard, just release it from the plug.

For the airbag to be safe, don't unplug it from the connector, take the whole box off. There are clips on the bottom and top of the box. Pop them up, and it's freed.

Once the trim face is removed, you will see the radio, and 2 screws on each side of the radio holding it in place. Go ahead and remove the screws. Once removed, just pull the radio forward. Unplug the antenna and main harness. The radio is now out.

Now replace the S radio with your SL radio, by reversing these directions. It's really easy and simple, and all is plug in play. Have fun!!!

Good idea!!! Don't forget the newer Versa's have the aux jack on the 1 disc now, so you might be able to get it cheaper then a 6 disc. I was looking and it looks like the S radio is going for $100, and the SL is going for $160.

This would be a good place as any to ask

But does the SL 6 CD Changer play DataCD's MP3s? seeing how it has a MP3 logo on it I'm assuming
Because that would be worth the extra bucks to get one to fill it with data CD's and still use the Aux Port for my Passangers

at anyrate, Awesome, didn't know it'd be so simple
