Hell yeah I could try boosting my sedan
That would be great, $1,500 isnt bad. Does he mention anything about the hp gain?
It would be a revised set up LSD, stock turbo, no big issues. Plus you get a fresh engine and transmission, that's still a 6 speedGetting a nismo sentra motor, trans, ecu. Possibly, a lot more is going to be really expensive compared to a custom setup. It would be easier to just buy the Nismo sentra - No one has really broke into the turbo realm with the Versa besides the Fox Marketing Versa. Bob did the supercharger route however, theres no date for a production bolt on kit yet. I still firmly believe a custom turbo setup is going to be the way to go. Fab shops build exhaust manifolds all the time. A custom manifold can be had for around $750, another $1,000 +/- for a turbo, plus custom intercooler piping, downpipe, injectors, and tuning. Making power isnt cheap.
I would still like to see more stuff produced for the MR18/MR20... Rather than swapping motors - etc.. so soon.
Do you know if this will fit on the mr18de?I saw that a nissan dealer in greece put together a turbo kit for the HR16DE. I have talked to them before and they believe it will also work on a Versa/tiida. Not sure if it will work with newer style HR's though. Figured I'd post up their kit. I told them about our forum and maybe they will chime in. The kit I'm sure is pricey in the $3k range I bet.
