I Can't Figure Out What's Wrong... HELP, Please!
I have a 2010 1.8 S hatchback. This morning, I drove my friend to the airport. When I got home, the car didn't honk when I hit the lock button on the key fob. It always honks when I lock the car! The only other time it didn't do so was when I didn't shut the hatch tight enough. So I've checked and rechecked the doors and hatch 3X. Still no honk. And the doors open light isn't lit. I even checked the gas cap. I looked through the owner's manual, but couldn't find anything.
Anyone know what's going on?

wats the answer your horn aint workin?
when i first bought my car the horn never honked when i locked it, the lights just flashed.
one day i was messing around in the car and the keys were in my jacket pocket and all kinds of buttons got pressed, and ever since all those buttons got pressed the horn honks when it locks. it was the weirdest thing

hold both lock and unlock buttons *thumbs up*
Yup. You can turn the honk off by pressing and holding down Lock and Unlock for 3 seconds. Similarly, you can turn it off by doing the same thing.

Personally, I prefer the honk so I know it's locked/unlocked

i'm usually walking into work and never remember if i locked it or not so hearing the honk reassures me lol
ok so it's cool, i hold the buttons down and the lights flick when it is set, then I hold it again and it honks when the horns active again
