I found a little box thing in my 2014 versa note

Update pics on the little box thing in my 2014 versa note

So today I noticed a little black box attached under kinda close to the alarm box. so I pulled it out and to get a better look. didn't affect the car but I didn't know know what it was so I took off a little cover and there was a little card like a sim card with no label at all. anybody else found this in their car? or what it is?


So here it is guys. the little black box it was attached near the obd plug. it has a blank sim card and a usb connection. i dont know what it is but .

hmmmmm..dont know,,,it is attached to the car how by wires ?

never saw anything like what you're describing on my Note OP
wild ass guess. some sort of tracking or monitoring device. some insurance company's will give a discount if you agree to use one. buy the car used?.

It looks alot like a GPS tracker. Some finance companies use them.
Did you buy your car used? What I find is that its a tracking device rental car agencies like Enterprise use to locate their cars.

Navigation Solutions is a company owned by the rental car company Hertz. They used these to provide GPS navigation for all their rental cars. Your son's car used to be a rental car...nothing to worry about.
Figured it was a corporate lease. We knew the place we bought it from dealt in them. Just not specifics. Thanks for the info
