Hey my name is flversa and I am new to this whole forum and have never done it before but I thought I would give it a try and see how it went. So far my experience on her is great.

I have a 2009 Nissan Versa Sedan 1.6. I know its not the best of the batch but its still a Versa. But I have done a lot of things to it myself. I added a remote/starter alarm w/ power doors, leds on the interior, 18" Konig rims and just recently painted my break calibers white to match my car.

I wanted peoples opinion on what they thought so far and what else should I do to it (performance of apperence). Anything would be great. Thanks for the read and I hope I learn much from this forum and its members.

What do you want out of the car. Hard to suggest anything when you don't list your desires.

welcome to the forum, the versas are great regardless of engine. as far as what you should do is up to you but from the looks of it looksreal good

And I love in Apopka, Fl (its near orlando)

i have been looking at cold air intank systems, but i have to admit i dont know much on them like wats the benifits on them or what.

Im looking for anything performance or looks.

Cold Air Intake would give you +3 hp. DC exhaust adds +5 hp. If you combine them you get ~+10hp. That's the best we have for performance so far.

Welcome to the forum! As far as the 1.6 not being the best of the bunch bite your tongue

. Were lighter, better on gas, and to my knowledge no one has an HR16 that's ticking or knocking or blowing up (unlike the other engine

). Sorry everyone just stating what I've been seeing on these Versa forums.

If your goal is power then I say find a way to boost it and ditch the heavy wheels. Get something smaller and lighter for wheels. There is actually a nissan dealer in Greece that has a turbo kit for the HR16. It's made for the quasqai but I'm betting it fits the versa too. Might be worth looking into. Honestly all the boltons you can do won't give you much HP.

Sounds good, Im in Tampa and I own a 1.6 sedan as well. Is yours auto or manual?

thanks for the info. ill defiantly take a look at cold air intank systems then. but thats cool that you live in tampa were not to far from each other, my sister goes to usf over there. Do you know of any fl versa clubs in our area. and unfortunately i have a auto it was a gift to me from my parents all paid off and everything so i cant complain.

Looks awesome! Ever consider painting the bumper black? Not the whole thing just the part with the slats. They use to come that way but nissan changed it. Someone on here did it and it came out great.

I have a 2010 1.6 silver sedan and the lower grille was silver so I painted it black. Looks much better in my opinion. And I dont know any clubs but I do know a few local members and we can meet up if you're interested.

it looks real good. the white calipers and black grille sets the car of nicely.

looking good, I live like 25 min from apk but recently sold my V! Only things id do is paint that front lower section black and ditch the front plate mount.

Yeah man that would be pretty awsome. if ur ever in town let me know or if u ever wanna just meet. but there 15% and 30% just regular legal pretty much.

what model of Koings do you have? I like their look

honestly i wish i could tell you i have been trying to find out also. i got them on craigslist for a great steal man. and the balls arent to hold the speakers thats what the zip ties are for in the back haha. how bout you do you have any system or anything special for your V
