For $28.00 (eBay), $30.00 at dealers, this accessory is a no brainer... protects the trunk lid AND it looks cool. And installation is EZ PEAZY!
I have been trying to get one of those bumper protectors from my dealer since I got my car! They never have it in stock and they are total assholes here so I have hesitated to even try to get it even though I need one!
All over ebay... I got the tiida one on my ride
I installed mine differently then you. I aligned it up with the back edge of the car ... since there was a slight curve to the protector near the end.

That way when the hatch is closed it looks completely flush with the protector.

Aww ... Yes I picked mine up in Myrtle Beach.

Here my dealership wanted something like $60 for it ... I picked it up for less than $30 down south.
wouldn't mind one for the sedan as my bumper is getting scratched. Anyone know if it's the same as the wagon.
Yeah, they price it as $30 here...and Ebay is just a pain to deal with for because I don't do all of that Paypal stuff...I'll probably just order on online from the dealership and just go pick it up sometime. They look especially good on black since you can't see them too!
Crap. I installed it wrong. Gonna go jump off a cliff for making such a dumbass mistake. :(
did you read the instructions that came with the part?
would this work for the sedan?
No instructions came with it. And I'm not sure if this works with the sedan...
I love mine... I found a few little scratches after a grocery run one day nd my protector keeps more scratches from forming AND covers up the existing ones.
Yes I love mine too. I had a few big scratches on my bumper and this at least covers them up. Plus it makes me feel like my Versa is a mini-SUV.
I want to fix this... What's the best and safest way to remove the rear bumper protector? I already bought car wax to wax the bumper after.
3m adhesive remover then get urself a roll of 3mdouble sided tape to reapply

Good luck :)
Will fishing line scratch paint?
Nope... That should work but also get a can of adhesive remover so you don't have to bend the cover
