Didn't know the factory rear spoiler was only held on by tape. The one i got (not from the factory, but same exact look) i had to drill 4 holes for the attached bolts and nuts holding it on from the inside the hatch. I used some silicone for the drilled holes. It's holding nicely so far with no leaks.

Yeah I drilled four holes but there is also tape. Two bolts with nuts and two self deploying clips.

This one is held on only by the 4 bolts and nuts, no tape. Didn't come with any and it never occured to me that it needed any. I might have put some on but it's held on securely so i guess it doesn't really need any tape.
