165K miles and I was finally ready to do the plugs for the first time(I know, I know).
So I have my plugs, gaskets and coil boot set. I remove all the other parts needed with only the 5 manifold bolts left to do. I find they are all really tight while trying to break them with the 3/8 ratchet. I know from experience that I'm not going to use Brut force and ignorance (or a breaker bar) and snap them off. I tried my Makita impact driver and hammered on the bolts for up to a minute, hoping I might rattle them loose but nothing. I had to put it back together to use the car.
I have a vision of having to cut the manifold off and then really working on these bolts to free them up.
Has anyone else had a problem with these seizing up ?

Use PB Blaster spray and let it soak.
Thanks for the tip and great minds think alike! I did spray it with Blaster but, getting a good soaking to the bolt's thread/block interface appears to be difficult with the plastic manifold blocking the way. I guess I'll keep on spraying it for a few days.
