you could always buy the armrest that screws into the front cup of the rear 2 cup holders. 4 screw and voila, storage compartment that just so happens to also be a comfortable arm rest.

edit: thats only blocking one rear cup holder, i missed that when reading the initial thread post. i've seen somewhere or other where you can buy a center console with an armrest that doesn't block a cupholder, but i believe it was in the $300+ range..

I think maybe your thinking for the c11 style versa's. I'm not sure the cupholder is available for the new N17 versa's.

rob, you are correct. but i was throwing out the option because i'm not entirely sure of the compatibility of said part.

@lilblue: haha one rear cupholder is better than having both of them unavailable.. i think i found the storage thing you were talking bout, i actually put it onto another thread.

that would be it. i had thought it would be put in the cupholder closer to the back out of the two rear ones, but i guess it can go in the front one too? dunno if thatll block off the 12v outlet. i use that for a bluetooth thing.

Just got my wife a 2012 Versa sedan and the only thing she was bummed about was no center console, I checked out the ebay one, hoping someone creates one for the new 2012's that matches the interior choices better as time passes...

and I did contact them asking about the 2012 sedan, their reply was we are working hard on making 2012 sedan accessories available including the center console to fit your model, so I will be keeping an eye on that one for her...

I've been checking periodically and these are available for the 2012 Sedan now.

The side molding looks great... arm rest is a must.:thumb2:

Do you have any opinion on the fit and function of the armrest? it looks like it would be too short to be of use
