I came across a good deal on this Nissan OEM Accessory Kit (Interior Trim Applique Silver - PN 999G3 4Z100) so I decided to purchase and install it on my Note. Since not much has been written about this kit, I thought I'd share my experience.
This particular kit comes in two colors, Silver (4Z100) and Gray (4Z101). I got the silver one which is lighter in color and has a carbon fiber type pattern. It also has a blueish tint on the pattern which nicely matches the blue fabric pattern on my black interior seats. I believe the Gray has the darker color, closer to the normal carbon fiber look.
Six pieces come with the kit, one on each door and two that goes over/on top of the silver accents of the dash next to the AC outlets. The pieces fit perfectly and makes the interior look "complete".
I would strongly recommend having the dealer or a professional install this kit as the adhesive is not very forgiving once it sticks. If you are going to do it yourself, start with one of the rear doors so if there is a problem it would not be too obvious. With a bit of luck and patience, I was able to install mine properly.
Overall, I'm quite happy the way it turned out and I think it improved the interior look and "feel" of my Note (i.e. you actually touch a smooth surface of the trim when closing the doors).
