1: It's always warm when you start the AC, whether from start or driving, the compressor needs to power up, and some heat may be expelled.
2: When it's hot, open the rear windows when you first start the AC, expel the hot air, and also let fresh air in.
3: If you want the coolest AC, keep it on circulation mode, don't open the vents.
