i like our little versa, bouhgt it after our 2006 chrysler town and country was totaled out. however just have few quick questions to ask if its normal or not. thanks for your time.
Cruises Highway around 2800-3k rpm (normal???never had a small car our van cruised around 2k and my econoline work van cruises around 1800)
light thud in steering column when turning (possible suggestions)
a/c belt is sqeauling (easy fix?)
getting around 320 miles per fill up (normal?)
other then minor issues we love the zippiness of our little versa and quite a comfortable ride!

You don't say what trans you have so RPM might be different from mine. I've got a 16 W/CVT, with 26,000miles. At 70 MPH I'm right at 2,000 RPM. I get right at 400 miles out of a tank of gas - this depends on how far you run it down. I get a steady 39/40 mpg (calculated, not by computer) in town and 41/42 on the road.

I would have the "clunk" noise in the front end looked at. Could be nothing but you sure don't need steering problems.

Hope you enjoy the car as much as most of us here do.

I have a 5spd manual transmission. At 60 mph I am doing close to 3k on 5th gear, at 70mph, I am doing close to 3.5k rpm and so on and so forth.

I get around 410 miles per fill up more or less.

I got a 2014 one with 39k

I get around 41-44 mpg.

Mine is the same year 6 speed hatchback.
There was a recall on the front springs check to see that they're not broken. If they are any nissan dealer should fix them for free.

What kind of noise is it making?
Does it make noise all the time?
