Yea my Civic had automatic. It was the only 09 with stick, I couldve got an auto but it was used with much more kms. The service manager said "good thing it didnt have the sport package bumper, it wouldve been much worse." Gonna bring it in when my purge valve sensor comes in. Ugh fml.Ouch !!!That sucks !!!
Was your previous car an automatic?
I tried to learn stick and gave up. I liked the CVT so went w/ that instead of the regular auto.
I bought my car at Airport Nissan in Brampton. I live in Brampton btwUgh ya that sucks. Good thing you didn't get the sport bumper then! Could be a reason to get one in the future though, lol
What dealer did you buy from? Mine is Plaza Nissan, only one in Hamilton.
This must be a different type of crowd then my last car. If your worried about the temp of the bumper grab a hair drier and heat it up first.Well it was my thought to pop it out myself too, but because of the sub-zero temps, I'm afraid that I might spiderweb the paint. It happened to my friend's integra, same situation, we popped it out but then it started to spiderweb. I called my buddy at his bodyshop, gonna take it there tomorrow. Gonna work on it inside where its warm so it doesn't flake the paint off when we push it out.
Don't they say everything happens in three's? Hope your all set with the misfortunes.I vote for the hair dryer and popping it out yourself... I had a horrible day last week - someone charged $1200 on my debit card, a pet hamster died, I sprained my ankle... all in one day! Just think, this bad luck HOPEFULLY will be done with! It's run its course!
good lord!!! Aint nothing bad happen in my life that yall have come too!! lolI vote for the hair dryer and popping it out yourself... I also watched someone back into my Civic last summer, I yelled at him, he got out of his car, gave me $300, and then drove away lol.ouch! that sucks!!
someone backed into my versa today...while i was standing there watching. where i live in south florida we don't parallel park much...so obviously this idiot didn't know how far back he could go. what was worse was as i was screaming "if you back into my car i promise..." and "don't hit it!" there was this guys wife outside of the car telling him he could go farther back. thankfully its a scuff that i'm sure can be buffed out...but i was about to kill someone today lol
I've always wanted to drive manual, and I'm trying my best. I've driven my friends around today, and they say I'm doing pretty good.dont give up on driving a stick! when you get better at it, its a ton of fun. and you have so much more control on whats happening. i felt the same when i learned (on a buddy's focus) and ive grown to love it.
It could be done sometime. Not yet though lol.Sport bumper FTW!!! :biggrin5:
hahaha i thought about doing that. i should have lolI also watched someone back into my Civic last summer, I yelled at him, he got out of his car, gave me $300, and then drove away lol.
