LED Dome light

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting some LED lights to chance the dome lights, and the overhead console of my car, I have a Nissan Tiida 2011, its the same as the versa, its mexican made, in Brazil they are called Tiida.

So anyone that has already changed the regular bulbs to some LED light can help me out with this Mod ?
Which LEDs should I get ? Which sizes ?
I might get the LEDs from eBay or DealExtreme.com, they have a huge led variety.
I do not want to drill any hole, or cut any plastic inside the car.

I have already read a lot of posts about this mod, but I only got more doubts.

I put some in mine they wernt hard got them off ebay $17.99 free shipping, there not bad I like them here the link

and some pics

when I got them there were two in the pack but when i put the one in I didnt like how bright they were so i connected the two together and now they are plenty bright enough oh and they are 100% plug and play just take the bulb out and put this in. I dont know if they could be shipped to you from the seller but its a start. sorry for the poor pics but its my phone and all I had.

Did you have to drill any hole or cut anything in order to get them working?
And what about the overhead console, did you put the same LED lights on it ?
I want to change all those bulbs to LEDs

nope 100% plug and play they have an adapter that looks like the factory bulb and just plugs in like the bulb

And what about the overhead console, did you put the same LED lights on it ?
I want to change all those bulbs to LEDs

dont have an overhead console

but just take the bulbs out and check the numbers if they are the same as the dome I think is a #76 and the kit they should work im going out to the car and tke some more picks now that is daytime

Man those pictures help a lot, I guess you could fit at least one more LED light, but i guess it would be way too bright.
Wish I could get my Tiida with Beige interior, here in Brazil people don't like em beige =/

I guess those from ebay will fit, but that seller does not ship to Brazil, but if the size fits, I'll buy the same size.

Just got to figure out which ones to get for the overhead console.

Was the bulb broken to wire in the LEDs? It's hard for me to see how they were wired.

The "bulb" (adaptor) is basicly just 2 end pieces of a light bulb with a spring that has an insolater around it so it doesnt connect the 2 sides but still holds them apart, then it just has the wires run to the lights I then just soldered the 2 sets together. so now instead of 12 LEDs I have 24 LEDs.

Thats pretty neat. So pretty much you made the leds yourself and soldered them onto the metal pieces? or did it come that way already together

Got mine today. They're just a bit longer than the stock bulbs. 'Will post night time pics to see how bright these are.

no they came like that I just hooked two sets together so it would be brighter
