Not up there. The corrosion was likely caused by stone chips that you failed to repair.

thats why i live in the south. No rust.

Will think about repairing. I wanted the Suby Baja but closing on a house and mortgage guy said no big credit purchases I'm on the bubble as it is. I have had rust on top from rocks but not on edge of top. Thinking of putting a sunroof on as well as a graphite cover thinking it might protect top. Wadya think? ty.

Most aftermarket sunroofs tend to leak so I wouldn't suggest it, on the other hand, graphite cover would be nice.

Does Nissan have capability to put in sunroof. I kno expensive but they want 1000.00 to repair the roof.

I called my nissan dealer about rust under my hood and under carriage. The corrosion warranty is 60 months and unlimited miles. Thing is, the rust has to damage the vehicle in a way that it is no longer functioning properly. An example would be your roof would have to completely rust through. ridiculous. Try this great stuff called evaporust.

I highly doubt they will ever do a warranty repair on paint. As jbeau said, probably caused my stone chips. So somehow you would have to prove to them that there wasn't a small chip that went neglected and started rusting and bubbling... not gonna happen. Nissan warranties = crap.
