MR20 4-2-1 Weapon-R header-awareness...

Weapon-R

Most likely fits the tunnel of the Versa's, as you can see it's a really nice design. As we all know the MR20's are identical to the MR18's. Hopefully get more MR20 and MR18 development intermingling and what not. The Sentra guys have done quite a bit more for the MR motors.

Yea but it's also more expensive then the once recently introduced to us, DC.
I'd rather pay for a better overall design. You should see what Porsche race headers cost...
More expensive, yes. However, it's also 4-2-1 whereas the DC Sports header is 4-1. So you would be paying for more piping/welding/labor
IMO to me the official MR18 header (s) out there are too similar to OEM for me to consider them as a performance piece, they still aren't equal length, and the only real improvement is in the collector.
Point taken, but I still wouldn't pay an extra 150+ for one extra pipe. Then again test pipes go for that much sometimes lol.
Those look great. Weapon R has a bad habit of over pricing, but the price really isn't bad for what you get.
wonder what other headers fit the versa?
HR16 will fit, that's what I ordered for my 1.8, same bolt pattern on the head, same diameter primaries, true 4-2-1 design.
What header do you have installed?I didn't think the hr16 fit the mr18.

what about vice versa? a mr18 to hr16?

just a shot in the dark?
but i'm having doubts
Head bolt patterns are identical, that's why i got the OBX HR16 header, it has a better design, and the primaries haven't changed diameter to reflect the smaller displacement. As long as the bolt patterns are the same, the only thing that matters is chassis/tunnel shape and proximity to other stuff. I haven't even received the header yet so we will see if it's that easy. I am aware of the quality issues, this is just for performance experimentation. Then 2 1/2" straight pipe all the way back. They don't sound good straight piped... but it is what it is.

Well let us know how it works for you. I still have my doubts it will fit. The exhaust manifold gaskets are different between the hr16 and mr18. Where as they are the same part number for the mr18 and the mr20. If this works then that is great.
