I've had my 08 stall on me once at a red light, but i was able to put it in park and restart it. never had that issue again. but if yours is a brand new 2012 just like others have said def. take it back to the dealership, hopefully they dont give you a hard time about it.

Go to the dealer. Even if they are unable to reproduce it, you have it documented.

If it happens three times and they cannot figure out the issue, you can pursue a "lemon" replacement.

Hello, I'm new to the forum.

I was going to put this in the transmission section as I have a feeling it's related but there didn't seem to be a transmission section. I just bought a 2012 Versa Sadan on Sat, 3rd. It's automatic and on the way to work this morning it stalled out on me at a red light. The damn thing is so quiet that I didn't even realize it until I took my foot off the brake and it started rolling backwards... Any Ideas? Anyone else have this happen? Should I take it back to the dealer?

Not sure where you bought it, but some states have what is called Lemon law whereas if something serious happens to your new car within a month the dealer must fix it fully and/or if the problem continues they must give you a new car. (VA doesn't have this to my knowledge, although I could be wrong)
