As far as the air flow issue regarding the fan, I don't know if your car has a cabin filter installed, but if it does, it may be dirty and needs replacement. As far as the AC not blowing cold, you may have a leak, or it may need a recharge of refrigerant in the system. If you don't want to bring it into an AC shop, you might try one of the recharge kits sold at most auto supply stores. I have had some success with them, and they are not that expensive. Good luck!!!

Isn't there a resistor block that controls the fan speed like other automakers?
If so. that is most likely the problem.

Usually if one burns out, the default speed is hi.

You are correct, but I think the original poster said he was getting some air on the lower settings. If the resistor block was fried, you are correct about getting the high speed only. Best to you.

Does the noise vary with speed position or only air pressure? There is a chance the flaps are out of sequence. Did it ever work? WHat if you pick inside vs outside air? What about different settings for floor, vent, defrost? What about flipping heat to cold?Like said, did you check filter to make sure its not full of acorns? >:D

When ac is on does the outside fan come on? Does the ac compressor click and start spinning? If you said yes get one of those freon recharge kits from a local auto store and hook it to the low side. You should have 30 psi on a 80 degree day with it on. If its lower, it needs MORE FREON. If its 0 its freaking low and you should get one with a leak sealer. If its off scale the compressor is either not working or you got a stopped up receiver/dryer or stopped up expansion valve.

Learn how to check both low and high pressures and you are doing a check of expansion valve.............among many other things.
