Need help on DRL Instillation

I just bough a pair of the universal fit 12 light LED day time running lights from iJDM. I need help on how to install them. The figure that iJDM provides says that I just hook the lights directly to the battery or have a switch going in between the lights and the positive hook up on the batter. I want to splice them into the parking lights (the orange lights that come on when you turn the headlight switch forward once) but I have no idea where the wiring is for the light. I should be getting them tomorrow afternoon so as soon as I get them I would like to start working on getting them installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and also I bought some LED license plate lights. How do I get the cover off of the lights so I can get those lights installed as well?

Thanks to anyone who reads and helps

I can't help with the driving lights sorry, but as for the plate lights, the light boxes are located just above your plate and have two hooks on each side holding each one up. You grab both ends and pull down and out (it's easier if you remove the plate first). Then you twist out the connector, pop out light and pop in new one, and reverse process.

Keep in mind though they are hard to snap back into place because of the wire so try and tuck it in and you get ready to snap the domes back into place.

No problem :thumb2: and yea it's very easy although you may want to bring a pair of flat-head screwdrivers to make getting them on and off easier as well as tucking back in the wire when you reattach them into the bumper. A good clean will help your new lights too (mine were covered in a yucky brown film lol :smilielol5:)

Best of luck to ya bro :)

Thanks, I’ll post when I got it all done. One of the lights is dead and knowing the cops in the areas that I drive they'll pull me over and give me a ticket, which I don't need since I’ve already gotten three since owning my 2009 versa
Ok so I got it done over the weekend just been to busy to post it. I pulled the trunk cover off from the inside to get at the lights and it was a piece of cake and it looks pretty cool.

I now have a new problem. One of HID lights has stopped working. I noticed it this morning I just had them installed on Halloween of 2011 so it hasn’t even been 6 months yet. Any ideas on if it’s just a burnt out bulb or something else?
