Need more active members

i always thought about that though...

i see v's at my school all the time, maybe someone should just print out tons of business cards and upon request you guys could mail them too us. microimage does that, works like a charm.

Henry made some of those "business cards" or "spotting cards" whatever they are called. lol

For all those people who are needing a printer...

Best Buy is offering a special discount on all printers (I believe). If you bring in an old printer, even if it doesn't work, they will give you $50 off your purchase of a new one. I will be buying a new Kodak printer on Monday cause they are sold out right now and its $119. Its wifi and prints pictures and all that good stuff and after the $50 off its only going to be $69. Seems like a great deal!

So go buy a printer off of CraigsList for $10 lol and trade it in! I'm sure they even have printers that are cheaper than $100!

I have a printer, the problem for me is it does not open up properly on my Mac. It doesn't show any pictures, just plain squares.

Do you have Microsoft Word downloaded onto your Mac? If not it probably won't work..

Yep, I have the Microsoft word package ... Got it free from school.

It opens it fine, just doesn't show any pictures. And my Mac automatically converts any word document files so that I can open it.

Oh well, I feel awkward leaving things on people's cars anyways. I know how I hate when people touch my car and stick things under the wipers, I wouldn't want to do that to someone else's car, when I myself hate it.

i feel the same way about touching other peoples' cars but as long as the cards aren't selling something stupid, people shouldn't be too angry. cards/fliers could be pinned up on community boards and left at dealerships and repair shops.

I'll have to try one day to open it on my Dell and print them out from that laptop; if I ever visit the dealership again I'll try to leave some in the waiting room.

That's what I did, left a bunch of cards at the dealer waiting room.

Active member count is always extremely lower than member count.

Dude, I know that. My point is the active member count is rather low. It would be cool if it were around 100-120 or so. My local forums the active member count is 173 and they have 447 members registered.

They don't count anybody active after 30 days.

In do time.. I'm sure a lot of people are still waiting to discover this forum. A lot of people probably visit the other forum.

We just need some useful threads that help people and than also have some small talk threads to keep people talking.

It happens, people join forums all the time and never return. I am sure you have done it, i know i have. It just happens.

It takes years to build a successful forum, it doesnt happen over night. Out of 270 members 53 are active. Thats about right. I can tell you right now sr20forum has 42,392 members and i bet you not even 5,000 are active.

and besides it's a versa forum, not a honda forum. If dave really wants to increase members he needs to get VBseo

Yeah, this is really annoying. The Fit and even Yaris forums are bristling with life. The Versa just isn't as popular as those cars.

The Versa outsells both of those cars. It's just that the Versa owners tend to be older and not forum/mod type people as opposed to they Yaris and fit.

I had no idea the Versa outsells both! That's great news!
