Need some help making a decision

I have a 2009 1.8 S hatchback with steel rims. I'm going to get rims, and I'm torn between going for a "clean" 2010 16" OEM rim look vs something a little different like new 17" platinums. The price ends up being the same no matter which direction I chose (factory rims aren't cheap).... any feedback? (see pics)

I'd go for the 17s. Gives the car a sporty look.
imo if the roads are nasty for potholes, go with anything oem cuz they're usually better made. my 15" SLs withstand 100km/h pothole punishment pretty well. and the 16 oems do look pretty good:thumb2:my .02
Bigger wheels almost always look better, specially with mild drop. But I agree with 08versailles, it depends on the roads you drive on daily.
I'd go with aftermarket; just because I like being different lol.
But stock wheels can handle abuse. I just put mine on my winter tires; since the aftermarket winters weren't fairing up well!
Thanks for the feedback. I live in Jersey, so the roads aren't "that" bad, and I do stress the word "that". I think I'm leaning towards the OEM just to be on the safe side, it wouldn't be such a tough decision if the OEM's didn't look as good as they do. Those 17's are nice... they don't overkill either. *sigh* gotta make up my mind.
OEMs are nice, just get a nice set of tires to go with them and you'll be set.
OEMs are nice. My V came with 14in. steel wheels so I upgraded to SL 15in. alloys and love them. Wider tires help too. The 15s came with 185-65-15 tires and I got 205-60-15s.

I didn't know u could go wider on a tire with the same rim. Isn't the rim a set width? How can u go wider?
Just remember if you go larger (like 17's) you will want to drop it a bit too, other wise it looks kind of retarded lol.

And 17's will ride fairly rough, at least compared to the 15's which have lots of sidewall.

But bigger wheels can definitely look good!

I ran a 6" wide rim on my stock rims witch are 5.5" wide I wouldn't go any wider then that.
So I decided to go with the 16" OEM's. Does anyone know where the best place (price) is to buy OEM's? I found a decent price at this site:

Nissan Versa Wheels / Rims, Lights & Mirrors

but haven't heard about them before. Any recommendations?
I'd check Ebay.
I'd check Ebay.
This.

But definitely beware on ebay, I have seen alot on there that aren't actually the same oem wheels, they are replicas, usually going for ~$100 or so. So they probably won't be as durable as the actual oem ones. Just read the ads carefully.
ok thanks. so that was a no go on wheelsrims.net?
$164 for each wheel isnt bad considering they're 16s. Are they new or used? I got mine for $150 with 3 tires. I'd try Craigslist too. I got my wheels from there, and so did a local member.
