I've installed a number of aftermarket stereos in previously owned vehicles and I would recommend a harness from a manufacturer like Metra which would plug into the factory harness without modifying any factory wires.
need wiring help
bought my wife a 2011 versa with no radio to be cheap an need a wiring diagram to wire in a head unit( radio) but dont know where to find one. can anyone help?

This is what you need. Don't worry about the Sentra part. Versa, cube, and Sentra have the same plug.
