New addition to family with pics

For some of you guys that may not know, I own a 2009 versa S sedan, my dad owns a 2009 Versa SL Hatchback, but he will be soon trading for a cube.

My mother has traded her 07 Chrysler town and country for a 2010 sentra SR. Its silver with charcoal/grey interior, with the convience package. Its a sweet looking car, its quiet and has a settle ride. Loving it alot!!

Very nice! Definitely a Nissan family over there!
My driveway no longer consists of the Sentra SE-R ... it's moved to Ottawa :( (5-8 hr drive depending on traffic)
I'm the only Nissan in the driveway now.
If only Chuckie would die :( A new Grand Caravan would be a good replacement ... my brother's in laws just got a new one in blackberry pearl. It's a gorgeous colour!

Post up some pics after!!!!!!!!! :D
Thanks ashley. Well we used to be a toyota family, and still look at toyotas from here to there. But for the value and what you get, toyota just dosent cut it. So we have moved to nissan. I believe nissan is leading the way to peoples interest, and listening to them. My 00 camry was due for a trade in 09, and I made up my mind im getting an 09 camry. But i was so dissapointed in the 09 camry, and relized all the things I hated about the 00 camry, were still there on the 09 camry, and I relized toyota hasnt changed, nor have they listened to customers. So I moved on. But still look at their cars.
Ya you have to buy what interests you and what suits your needs.

Nissan isn't that cheap to buy over here. The cheapest make here would be Chevrolet, or Pontiac. That is why a lot of students purchase Cobalts, Aveos, etc (because they are cheaper to buy) but still a decent first car.

I am just not one for trading in all the time, and neither are my parents. So that's why I got my Versa fully loaded. If I plan to drive it for a really long time I need to enjoy driving it and like the car :)

My dad asked me when the 2010 model clearout sales were going to start. I hope that means Chuckie might be going 'bye-bye' :D
lol. Well they have started here. Yeah its chevy here too. But there resale value sucks badly, and chrysler too. Our town and country new was $23,000, which we bought used. and it was sold for $10,500. Its only been 3yrs, and thats like half!!!
Wow! Same can be said for our Versa's though. The resale value is not the greatest either. Another reason why I'll just drive her until she quits.

We are off next week too on vacation. I should get my dad to go look at cars if we are not busy. This is around the time that my brother bought his Sentra last year! He'll have had it for one year on 9/11. I bet he is almost near 30K already! Almost more than my Versa and mine's going to be 3 years old in April.

Cool!
So that version gets the SER tails and exhaust! Nice!
We don't have an SR here (at least I have never seen any at the dealers or on the road).
Congrats, looks good. Can I fit those wheels on my V? :D
Thanks Ashley, yeah it shares the spoiler, bumpers, side skirts, tail lights, grill, exhaust tip, as the SER. its just dosent have the performace features of an SER. Its still the 2.0 engine, and CVT tranny.

Clean 4th: I dunno. I thought about that the other day.... I dunno if my mother would allow me to take one of her wheels off, and stick it on my car for a fitment. Id have to ask one day. But i really dont know. I know my dads versa's alloys kinda curve around the brake, and my mothers kinda pushes out from the brake. So thats a good question. Maybe I can find some specs in her manual or something. They are 16's, p-205/55 bridgestone turanza SL400. They are nice and quiet tires, im so jelous!!!
Ok. Gotcha! I have yet to see an SR here ... Just the regular models, and then the SE-R's or Spec-V's here!

Give her wheels a shot! I know my brother's wouldn't fit as his are a 5 lug pattern but her's are a 4 lug! Could fit and look good!
I agree, and they're bigger than the 07-09 SLs. = )
Well when I get the time to where shes not working and im free, ill have to ask her. Shes being really, really, really, picky about her car right now...... lol

Lol ...
Well it is her brand new car ...

She'll loosen up with it eventually.

I know the feeling. I've had mine for about 6 months and Im very picky about it...to the point where Im the only one who drives it. :wiggle:

Beauty of my HK car is no one really wants to drive it or be seen in it.

I don't care if they drive her. I'll let my parents take her if they are going out somewhere. Chuckie isn't that nice to take out when you are dressy, especially now that he has no A/C.

I hear ya. The beauty of mine is that it's manual so my dad and I are the only ones that can drive it and he doesnt like driving it.

Lol ... My dad's car is manual. No one else can drive it either (except my younger brother). No one wants to drive it though because it's old, and has no A/C. When it's back on the road again, I'll learn how to drive it (maybe when the weather cools down). Over 40 degrees here today and for the week. The humidity is back again :S
