Hey Guys!

I just bought a slighty used Nissan Versa today! It's 2008 SL Six-Speed with Sunroof. I got a great deal 20k OTD!

Anways I have BIG plans for this car and just wanted to get some advice and direction.

What coilovers will I get the biggest drop with? What are the widest wheels I can put on? Where can I find a turbo kit for this car?

Thanks guys for your input, I look forward to learning a lot!

Cheers!

If you want a coilover kit you better be willing to drop $900 lol
Welcome. Manual ftw! What are the plans for it?
Welcome, all the coilovers made for this car can drop the it down low. As of turbo kit you have to make your own and modify the car for it to hook up. If I had to guess a price I would say around 3 to 5 grand.
Welcome to the forums!!
Welcome!!!

20K otd for a used 08? Is that correct? Did it have no miles on it? Seems like a really high price for a used Versa!

I didn't even think about that until you said something, that's really high. I paid 13.5k for my standard V new with about 15 miles on it.

I know the sport model is more, as mine was $21k before taxes (brand new with CVT & all options). If its worth $20k used, I'd sell ! Lol
I never look we resale value for these cars, I would Think its good with the demand for these cars. Seems like dealers have a hard time keeping the HBs in stock.
Same here. I know mine is a base and I tried to trade it in once but they offered $6K for mine when it had like 10K miles, and that was with my factory wheels...the amount would go down if I took them off.

Funny thing is they buy them for next to nothing and sell them for an arm and a leg. I wanted a 6speed and 1.8 so I found this blue '09 hatch(favorite color) but it was almost $14K, S model(reason I wanted to keep my wheels), almost 40K miles, no warranty, and no power package. I laughed and walked back to my V.
Used Versas here are not worth very much.
they seem to hold their value here pretty well...and yeah, i agree that 20K is pretty damn high for a used versa...i paid like 12k for mine brand new....

but, we digress....Welcome! post pics when you can!

Ya doesn't seem right when it only cost $21K to buy the sport model brand new, lol ...

I don't ever plan to sell so trade in value doesn't matter to me, but when checking used car websites, I can tell how much the value has dropped. Ah well.

LOL!

But at Plaza, that's what it costs for a brand new one! ;)
*sigh*

For 21k you could have gotten more car for your money if your looking for a powerful car.

Good luck with your "BIG" plans...
LOL!

Nah, you forgot inflation! For a brand new sport your looking at like... 30k OTD :45:
