Hello everyone, im a ewbie here for Versas/Tiidas. Just changed from a 99 altima to a 2007 Tiida. Very nice car, not as fast as the alti, but im not into riding hard anylonger.

Couple of questions, I took off my HID's off the alti (9007) and was thinking about mounting them to the Tiida, I did notice that the tiida has a 9003 bulb, wanted to know what would be the odds of fitting those lights without changing bulbs. I did see the hell of work to take the headlights out and wanted to stay away from that if possible.

I also saw that there is a engine cover for the Versa that the Tiida does not have, any idea if it coul fit a Tiida the Versa one? I did se some holes in the engine and wondered what were they for, but now that I see all of urs it maked sence what they are for,

hope to keep learning about nissan, have been on nissans for the last 9 yrs

Welcome. you will probably not able use 9007 bulbs when you put them in the light will be scattered I tired it with bulbs that where not 9003. What I did is buy 9003 bulbs by them selves and connected them to the balast
sux, wanted to sta away from that, hopefully Ill see if I install them in a couple of months, just ordered the radio install housing and cables to put the radio I used to have, it sux not having a USB port nor aux port

Welcome to the forums. Any pics?

I also have a 1.6 and thats the reason I prefer the 1.8 but I dont go over 80 very often so I guess I dont need it. I agree though, the engine does sound like it's being pushed at 4K+. :(
yup I shure know the feeling, it is not a go fast car nor for loooong driving distances otherwise ull get pissed from hearing the motor "pushed" at 4k rpm... dont usually go past 70 everyday so I am cool with it, but once a month I do take a long trip and I just felt the difference, and I also hate not to have cruise control, that is the only down side I have seen on it

that's cool,

this is my last MPG

the numbers are calculated in Miles,
my Versa now has 81,606 Miles
I was able to travel 343.2 Miles out of my last fillup and...
I still had 1/4 tank left

it took 9.534 gallons to fillup because I still had 1/4 tank left

343.2 Miles / 9.534Gallons = 35.99 miles per gallon

35.99 MPG X 9.534 Gallons = 343 Miles

343.2 miles = 552.326 km

I have a 6spd 1.8 :thumb2:

sound about the same, good MPG, mines has 40k miles on it, car hast been driven that much,

regarding tires, im thinking about putting 205/60r15 on them, from what I have seen, there is not much issue of it so far, or is there?

Tiida looks good. I love the headlights and sidemarkers. Is the back any different compared to the Versa? Looks the same to me.
there is a change in the bumpers, Versas have some " things" to the corner of the bumpers, front and back, but it is basicaly the same deal,

I have no Idea which model is my tiida, all I know is that it has some leather in the seats compared to others ive seen, where could I look into that any ideas?

just this past weekend I swapped out my previous radio and changed the original one,

cant stand living without USB,

bought the wire harness and console to make a perfect fit on the car.... looking good,

only thing was that the wire cables did not have a ilumination orange wire, and radio lights are always on
